about me:
i grew up moving around the states with a military family and have kept up the tradition in to adulthood, moving every few years to a new state or country. it’s not that i love moving, moving sucks. and it’s not that i dislike the places i leave, i love them all. i’m just curious about what i will find if i keep going.

my interest in traveling and learning foreign languages has its origins in one of my best friends, a puerto rican neighbor, whose spanish speaking family threw the best new years eve parties i’ve ever been to. i started studying spanish so i could understand what they were talking about at dinner and eventually turned to italian, arabic and french for more languages to eavesdrop in. i’ve travelled a bit and have lived on three continents but what i love most is lazing around my place watching and rewatching luc besson movies and playing cards with friends.  and hiking and snowboarding and climbing and fishing and canoeing and eating and singing and…
